A non-invasive, body-led, non-verbal journey based on ancient medicine to help promote healing.
Sound Healer · Wholistic Coach
My healing didn't begin with a course or a retreat. It began when I stopped outrunning what was asking to be felt. Through a chronic illness that forced me to slow down. Through hormonal storms that my doctors couldn't name or explain. Through five years of sleepless nights, trapped in a body stuck in fight or flight, unable to regulate, rest or recover. Through panic that had no obvious cause, and the slow, terrifying, humbling work of learning to trust my own body again.
I know what it is to feel like a stranger inside yourself. To carry a deep sense that you are here for more, yet be unable to see a way forward, a way out. I know what it costs to hold it together on the outside: performing for others, shrinking to external pressures and expectations, while something deeper is quietly coming undone at the cost of your own inner peace and freedom. What I found in the midst of all that was deep disconnection: from my lineage, my body, my emotions, the natural world around me, my passions and my purpose.
Somewhere along the line, I had lost connection with who I have always been at a soul level.
I found myself on an eight-year initiation — immersed, embodied and encapsulated in it — working through layers of purging, processing, learning, adapting and discovering. Through connecting with the parts of myself I had cast aside, facing my shadows, sitting with pain deeper than any abyss, changing my physical environment, learning about energy, connecting with my ancestry and roots, stepping into my feminine power and quietening the masculinity I had adopted to survive in this patriarchal society, I found a way back. Through listening, I slowly began to hear what my body had been trying to say all along.
After seven years of incorporating Energy Healing, Childhood Regression Therapy, Past Life Regression Therapy, Kinesiology, Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Functional Medicine, Shamanic Healing, Yoga, Meditation, Bodywork, Talk Therapy, CBT, NLP, EMDR and Somatics, I came across Sound Healing. Every piece of the puzzle has been essential to my own learning and growth, and I draw on all of it to guide others with an integrative approach.
I feel deeply drawn to sound due to the nature of how it works. Sound vibrations and frequency reach the places words and the thinking mind cannot. They move through tissue and memory and the stories our bodies hold long after the mind has tried to move on. There isn't necessarily any doing with sound, as there is with other practices — the sound itself is the medicine. For thousands of years, across every culture on earth, sound has been used as medicine: in the chants of Vedic priests, the drums of Indigenous ceremony, the sacred bowls of Tibetan monasteries, the throat singing of the Mongolian steppes. What we are only now beginning to measure in laboratories, our ancestors have always known in their bodies.
I am particularly passionate about working with those who have been carrying what was never named: intergenerational trauma, unprocessed emotions, and the chronic dis-ease that comes from living too long in survival. Those who have had to translate themselves to be seen. Those whose felt experiences have never been validated. Those who have never quite found a room that felt like it was made for them: the black sheep, the scapegoats, the cycle breakers.
This one is.

My formal training is one thread in a much richer tapestry. Over the years I have attended masterclasses, workshops, courses and talks; read widely, including the works of Peter Levine, Bessel van der Kolk and Brian Weiss; absorbed Gabor Maté's teachings; and listened to more podcasts than I can count. Much of what I carry, though, has been shaped by something less easily named: my own lived journey, and the deep privilege of learning alongside coaches, practitioners and teachers who have walked this path with integrity and care.
My work is not primarily clinical or classically trained, and I want to be honest about that. It is rooted in the body, in ancient wisdom and practice, and in the fullness of the human experience. If you are drawn to that kind of presence, I would love to welcome you.
Sound healing is one of the oldest forms of medicine on earth. Across cultures and continents, from Vedic traditions to Indigenous ceremony, from Tibetan monasteries to ancient Egyptian temples, sound has been used to restore balance, release held tension, and return the body to its natural state of coherence.
It works by sending frequency and vibration into the body's tissues, fascia, and biofield, the electromagnetic field that surrounds and permeates every living being. This bypasses the thinking mind entirely. You do not need to understand it, or to speak. Your body receives the sound and responds at the level of the cells.
Modern science is beginning to map what ancient practitioners always knew: that the human body is largely water, and water is exquisitely responsive to sound. That the nervous system holds memory below the level of language. That vibration can shift what years of talking sometimes cannot reach.
This is not performance or passive listening. It is a direct pathway to nervous system regulation, emotional integration, and a deeper sense of coming home to yourself.
Both sessions are 1:1, in-person, conducted on a massage bed. Please allow 1 hour 15 minutes for our time together.
While I am training, all sessions are offered freely. A suggested donation of anything up to £35 is warmly welcomed, though it is never compulsory, and your access to this work will never depend on it. Inclusivity is at the heart of what I do: I want this work to reach all those who truly need it. A donation, in whatever form, helps keep this space rooted and growing, sustaining the time, preparation, and care that each session holds. Give what you can, without pressure. You are welcome regardless.
Please download, complete, and email the form to Aksara at aksarai@icloud.com at least 48 hours before your arrival.
